Werte grazile Menschen!
Happy Release Day, Guyođ!

grazil Records | Explo Soli Sampler Update
| Release Datum digital: Freitag, 20.2.2026 |

Rarely has the current weather been so well suited to a grazil Records release as Guyođ’s latest EP, “Death Throes Of A Drowning God.” The deep sea is cold and dark, just like it is outside right now. A look at the ice and frost, accompanied by this EP as a soundtrack—perfect! Happy release day, Guyođ!
Otherwise: the Explo Soli sampler is slowly taking shape. And next week there will be more concert tips and other news. Oh, and a 30-track tape by the grindcore duo Grinder is also coming out soon.

| Death metal and doom united in destructive fashion. Guyođ from Graz distil the most evil elements of these genres, christen it “Death Throes Of A Drowning God” and capture it on CD and tape. You can get an extensive preview of what the new EP sounds like in this episode. Singer Ōjin and bassist Daikakuji sat down for an interview. |

grazil Records | Explo Soli Sampler Update
| The EXPLO SOLI SAMPLER is now taking shape. The first contributions have already been sent in, thank you very much! There are now two dates to note: |
| Deadline for contributions: Friday, February 13, 2026 |
| If possible, please send a wav file (24-bit depth, 48 kHz sampling rate are a great benchmark) to grazil@grazil.at (e.g., via Wetransfer or a download link). |
| Digital release date: Friday, February 20, 2026 |
Depending on how the sampler is received, there will be CDs available. And perhaps other audio media.
What is this all about? The Graz-based association and concert venue “Explosiv,” which has been in existence since 1988, has fallen on hard times financially, partly due to severe funding cuts. To help Explosiv through this difficult period, there are several ideas, one of which is this solidarity sampler. It won’t bring in millions, but the symbolism and solidarity will help the team immensely. This sampler is a collaboration between the Graz DIY label grazil Records, the Explosiv rehearsal room bands, friendly bands, and artists. And it provides a good overview of the current band scene in Graz and Styria, which has grown significantly in recent years. |
