Werte grazile Menschen!
Wie versprochen folgt jetzt der neueste Newsletter etwas früher und umfangreicher. Der erste Videopodcast mit Romeo Ried kostete mich 3 Arbeitstage und das Ergebnis ist trotzdem eher bescheiden. Viele Anfängerfehler, vor allem in Bezug auf den Sound und Youtube-Copyright-Issues,
haben den großartigen Inhalt, den Romeo geliefert hat, etwas getrübt. Aber es gibt immer ein erstes Mal. Bis zu den nächsten Video-Podcasts mit Philipp Weinberger oder Harrowist werde ich das schon in den Griff bekommen.

Punk, Läufer, Booker, Sänger, Veranstalter, DJ, Radio Host: grazil FM war bei der lebenden Grazer Underground Punk Legende Romeo Ried auf Besuch. Ich habe mir von ihm seine Geschichte, seinen Zugang zu Punk und seinen Veranstaltungen im KAPU über die Traminer Weinstube bis hin zur über 30 Jahre andauernden Explosiv-Ära erzählen lassen. Die Geschichte einer Undergroundszene, erzählt von einer Undergroundikone.

grazil Records | Oslo Tapes: neue Single, neues Video, neues Album

Die italienischen Krautrocker OSLO TAPES veröffentlichen am 14.November ihr neuestes Meisterwerk “Låst Comet”. Das deutsche Label “Worst Bassist Records” macht die LP und Digitalveröffentlichung, grazil Records übernimmt wieder die CDs und Tapes.
Am 9.9. wurde bereits die erste Single “Inhuman Witch” plus Video veröffentlicht.

Wie bereits im letzten Newsletter erwähnt, erscheint am 17.10. das dritte Full Length Album des Devastating Sludge Doom Duos THOSAR namens “The Bold Idea Of Being Satisfied”.
Am 19.9. kommt bereits der Titeltrack als Vorabsingle plus VIDEO raus!

As promised, here is the latest newsletter, a little earlier than usual and more comprehensive. The first video podcast with Romeo Ried took me three working days to produce, and the result is still rather modest. Many beginner’s mistakes, especially with regard to sound and YouTube copyright issues, have somewhat detracted from the great content that Romeo delivered. But there’s always a first time. I’ll get the hang of it by the time the next video podcasts with Philipp Weinberger or Harrowist come around.

grazil FM | Romeo Ried

Punk, runner, booker, singer, organiser, DJ, radio host: grazil FM visited the living Graz underground punk legend Romeo Ried. I asked him to tell me his story, how he got into punk and about his events at KAPU, the Traminer Weinstube and the Explosiv era, which lasted over 30 years. The story of an underground scene, told by an underground icon.

grazil Records | Oslo Tapes: new single, new video, new album

Italian Krautrock band OSLO TAPES will release their latest masterpiece, “Låst Comet”, on 14 November. German label Worst Bassist Records will release the LP and digital versions, while grazil Records will once again handle the CDs and tapes.
The first single, “Inhuman Witch”, plus video, was released on 9 September.

As already mentioned in the last newsletter, the third full-length album by the devastating sludge doom duo THOSAR, entitled “The Bold Idea Of Being Satisfied,” will be released on October 17.
The title track will be released as a pre-release single plus VIDEO on September 19th!
