Meine Lieblingsnachricht zuerst: die Buchhandlung Morawa Moser Am Eisernen Tor in Graz bietet seit heute ein Best-Of-grazil-Vinyl-Programm an. 10 auserlesene Schallplatten (u.a. von Tired., Coma System, Grazer Grant etc.) habe ich vorbeigebracht und ich bin wirklich glücklich über diese Kooperation eines lokalen Buchhändlers mit einem lokalen DIY-Underground-Label.

Hier finde ich den eigentlich von mir verhassten Spruch „Support your local scene“ mehr als angebracht!

Die steirischen Ska Punk Legenden „Mighty Maggots“ wagen die Zusammenarbeit mit grazil Records und veröffentlichen ihre brandneue EP „It’s Like Nothing Matters Here“. Offiziell live vorgestellt wird das Teil beim diesjährigen Styrian Sounds Festival im PPC am 10.4., was auch gleich das offizielle Releasedatum darstellt. Skaskaska!

Social Media, Spotify und Newsletter Penetration

Leute, es funktioniert wirklich. Die alternativen Social Media Plattformen, zu denen grazil abgewandert ist, fangen an zu blühen. Speziell mit der Entwicklung des Youtube Kanals „grazil TV“ bin ich sehr zufrieden, auch mit Bluesky. Nur meine Lieblingsplattform Mastodon hungert noch etwas vor sich hin – total unterbewertet, meine Lieben!

Und: der wöchentliche grazile Newsletter kommt auch sehr gut an, vielen Dank für die Rückmeldungen!

Dear Grazillians!

My favorite news first: the bookstore Morawa Moser (Am Eisernen Tor) in Graz is offering a best-of-grazil vinyl program as of today! I dropped off 10 exquisite records (by Tired., Coma System, Grazer Grant etc.) there and I’m really happy about this cooperation between a local bookseller and a local DIY underground label.

I think the saying “Support your local scene”, which I actually hate, is more than appropriate here!

The video premiere of the Graz hardcore brothers “Tired.” with “Zwietracht” on the YouTube channel grazil TV was also a success. If you still haven’t seen it, it’s worth watching:

The Styrian ska punk legends “Mighty Maggots” dare to collaborate with grazil Records and release their brand new EP “It’s Like Nothing Matters Here”. It will be officially presented live at this year’s Styrian Sounds Festival at PPC on April 10th, which is also the official release date. Skaskaska!

The bookstore Morawa Moser Am Eisernen Tor 1 in Graz offers a best-of-graceful-vinyl-program since today. I dropped off 10 exquisite records (by Tired., Coma System, Grazer Grant etc.) and I’m really happy about this cooperation between a local bookseller and a local DIY underground label.

Social media, Spotify and newsletter penetration

Guys, it’s really working. The alternative social media platforms that grazil has migrated to are starting to flourish. I’m particularly pleased with the development of the YouTube channel “grazil TV”, and also with Bluesky. Only my favorite platform Mastodon is still starving a bit – totally undervalued, my dears!

And: the weekly grazil newsletter is also very well received, thank you very much for the feedback!
