After the debut "Parerga" from 2021, Pillars Of Cacophony's second album "Paralipomena" is another dissonant Death Metal opus with unusual lyrics and artwork. The album is released as a six panel digisleeve with 12 page booklet on 28 March 2025 through Teratogen in cooperation with grazil Records.
The album follows the lyrical concept of "Parerga" and deals with the biological realities of life and disease and the tools scientists use to unveil them. Musically, there is more experimentation and the inclusion of musical styles beyond Metal. Except for the artwork by Dr.Winter and a guest guitar solo by Markus Steinrück, this time it's a complete DIY production with everything done by Dominik.
